The reality is that the Chinese have been using QR codes for more than 8 years and mobile phone OSs recognised that fact to follow that trend and automatically recognise QR codes from their camera at least 5 (?) years ago. In the U.K. we have been using QR codes for about 4 yrs. Sounds like the US has caught up now? An interesting article but it’s not a bad idea to do your research first?
